I had prostate surgery 18 months ago and while all my readings have been good since then I have not been successful in having an erection. Prior to surgery I would have daily erections so needless to say not experiencing an erection is frustrating and concerning. I realize this is a common effect of this surgery but wondering if anyone in my circumstances could advise me as to their experiencings in having sex with their spouses. I have been using a pump for past year but find I cannot hold an erection long enough in the missionary position to give her an orgasm. The only way for me to get an orgasm is in the spooning position. My wife claims she cannot cum in this position so I am left to masturbate her to orgasm. While first this was just find we are now finding it somewhat less enjoyable. Shortly after my surgery we would have mutual masturbation but she doesn't want to do this anymore. I have tried the pills but they don't work. Can anyone give me some advice as to what to do. Thanks

Get some consultation on an implant. The longer you go without having an erection you will loose length and overall size. Get a good surgeon though. That is really important.

Might also discuss with your URO penile injection therapy. Three years after radiation treatment I have been doing injections as pills gave me headaches and very happy with injection therapy.

I had a similar experience 2 years post prostatectomy no erection, tried everything even shots, hated them. Now 1 month post opp, implanted with an AMS 700 CX everything is great. It is very important to get the right doctor, I tried looking local and could never find a doctor that would answer my questions. I found a great doctor Andrew Kramer in Baltimore, look him up on YouTube he has hundreds of videos, after watching him I felt there was no where else to go, I had a great experience.

Try injections. They work well for me. For most guys the injection is no big deal. Give them a try.

My dr sent me to a physical therapist that dealt with incontinence and penile rehab. She had me using a vac at 8 weeks daily and injections at least once a week. Pge -1 caused great amount of pain. My URO told me that all my nerves were removed ,I moved on to an implant 9 months after RP. How much of your nerves were saved?

Had Radical Prostatectomy with bi-lateral nerve sparing DiVinci surgery in 2016. Never was able to get an erection after. Been using Bimix ever since with no problems so far. I found the vacuum pump painful and useless after trying pills (didn't work).
