How long should intercourse last?

Recently started using injections and they work very well. Perhaps too well. Is it normal to have penetrative sex for an hour or longer? Does your partner complain? For those of you that are not married how do you explain this to your partner? I’m enjoying the injections so much I’m considering an implant soon. All comments welcomed, thank you.

If you and your partner last that long I don't see the issue. As long as you're both comfortable and enjoying it, then there's no time intercourse should last.

Congratulations on your physical condition if you can go for an hour! We quit when she starts to get a little drier, usually 20-30 minutes, or if she says, "I'm done."

Until she says it's over! Or you fall on the floor exhausted! Whichever one happens first. :D

With injections, having an erection continuously for 4 hours is risky. But that rule applies whether or not you are engaged in coitus. An erection that long risks damage to your tissue because all that trapped blood in the cavernosum gets depleted of oxygen and tissue death may occur.

As far as having continuous (or intermittent) sex is concerned, the advice already given is good. Do it until it doesn't feel good any more, then take a break and enjoy the afterglow. Start again if the desired.

Sex need not have a stopwatch on it.

Could we say that intercourse should continue until it ceases to be enjoyable for both partners? After that, the one who wishes to continue can finish with a toy (dildo or fleshlight).

It is good to be back. Actually, I never left, but prostate cancer has occupied my time since April 2023. Researching treatments. Prostatectomy took out my IPP reservoir in October 2023 and ADT (Androgen Deprivation Therapy) hasn't helped libido, either. Though my libido was always more mental than hormonal, so I still desire sex; I just cannot do coitus any more and incontinence has put off fellatio, too.

But I am working on it.

Thanks for remembering me.

Lost Sheep- Good luck with your recovery. You have added much to many discussions and many types of discussion. I assume you are a natural researcher. I will pray you come back stronger than ever.
