Hi everyone,
I am indeed new here, so thought I'd just take a moment and say hello. My partner recently started Trimix injections and I came here to find out some more information about the product, side effects, etc. I want to be supportive and cannot tell you all how much I appreciate that he has taken this next step to invest in our ability to be intimate on a regular basis. Before I share more of our story, I'm trying to figure out how accepting everyone is of a woman. Thanks!

Re: Are females allowed?
I am sure your support for your partner is appreciated by him. You should both feel free to inquire about any questions you have regarding the treatments for e.d.
You should give a brief history of the probable causes of his problem, and treatments suggested by his urologist.
We have all the bases covered here by someone who has traveled the same road. I am sure you will both be better informed and hopefully satisfied with the outcomes of treatments.
Good luck and a big WELCOME to FrankTalk.

Well, I am impressed that you are so pro-active. My wife is a very private person but she knew she had to step up to the plate with me (which she did) when I was being medically evaluated, including helping to get me aroused following my first injection at the doctor's office so that the doctor could evaluate the quality of my erection. Still, her reluctance stings a bit. Much easier to have an enthusiastic parner!

Welcome to FrankTalk. Your partner is lucky to have you. As you noticed, this is a board for men to talk freely among men. With women in the discussions, the dynamics are simply very different. The topic of women being part of FrankTalk comes up as women do pop in, but the members of FrankTalk have pretty much made it clear that they need a men's forum. We invite the women to lurk, read, learn and implement as they can. We had more than one woman say that they learned more about their partners just from reading the posts here.
When we have the money, we desperately want to start a partners' website. I would urge you to have your partner join FrankTalk. While the ED issue absolutely affects the couple, it is his issue to feel as if he is in control - since every other aspect of this condition has removed important things from his control. It is his condition to learn about and be responsible for it. The two of you together can proceed with new-found knowledge.
There are small forums for ED on sites like Daily Strength, WebMD, etc where there are predominantly women involved.
Thanks again for you interest and, again, you are being a wonderful help to him. Now just push him our way!
Thanks
paul

Re: Are females allowed?
My apologies for the intrusion! I hope I didn't offend anyone, I was just trying to educate myself and I really appreciate the explanation of why you don't prefer women post on here. It seems so selfish of me that I didn't stop to consider how this is a control issue.....so I'm sincerely sorry, and would appreciate if you could remove my account.
