Just recently joined and I am interested in learning from your experiences and sharing mine. I am a mature guy who has dealt with ED most of his adult life. I've tried just about everything available to treat ED, from hypnotherapy, exercises, ED pills including supplements, TRT, vacuuming pumping and injections. I am also a 6 year prostate cancer survivor who went with a radical prostatectomy.
Before I croak, I'd like to find a satisfactory resolution (read fix). Very recently, I've started looking into the possibility of a penile prosthesis implant. There is no particular reason I've not looked at this, other than it being the last currently available option and it being a major step in admitting that nothing else will work.
I am interested in communicating with other men about their experiences, successes, failures and advisement. In return, if there are any questions you'd like to ask someone who's ED goes back decades and who has tried a raft of different things to change that, feel free to PM me or post your questions or comments.

Re: Introduction
I have had great positive experiences with my implant, but I think it would be more helpful for this discussion to be moved to the Implants section of FT. Welcome, brother.
Re: Introduction
Welcome to the forums. As I've read through the various posts over the past year there has been a fair share of fellas with some issues regarding their implants. Some had early failures or botched surgeries. However, I've gotten the impression that the great majority of men are happy with their implants and have regained their confidence. If you have tried every other remedy with no success an implant seems like an easy choice. Just make sure to choose a first rate surgeon.
Fifty-one years old. ED started at age forty. I took Cialis for eight years and used Trimix for almost three. Implanted 12/6/22 by Dr. Jonathan Clavell. AMS 700CX 21cm.
Re: Introduction
I have no prostrate issues, but had my implant last Nov. After suffering from ED for close to 15 years and using every option that eventually failed, the implant was the last step. Unfortunately I guess I'm in the 3% who have issues, and after 5+ months still have some discomfort. But it has been a total boost to my emotional status. I am to the point where I can have relations with the wife with very little discomfort.
If you've tried everything and nothing has worked you'll love having an implant.
