digicashceo wrote:Hello everyone! My name is Chris! 47 years old, dad and granddad, Navy veteran. I haven't been formally diagnosed with ED but I have been diagnosed with hypertension and type 2. Speaking with my doc at the VA he said that could contribute to the "lack of excitement" down there, lol! Glad to be here and looking forward to learning. :D :D :D :D :D :D

Welcome to the forum, Chris and thank you for serving. My Dad enlisted in the Navy in 1939 and served aboard a Cruiser in WWII and for a total of 22 years. I served in the Air Force myself. Now, the V.A. has been very good for me, as a disabled Veteran.

My advice: Get educated as much as you can. My Primary Care Physician became my ally in authorizing treatment for E.D. with medications and then skipping the VED and injections and getting an implant. He once remarked, "You know more about ED and implants than I do." I found my very excellent surgeon because a V.A. Nurse/travel agent (with whom I shared details of my quest for treatment, even though it was unnecessary) told me of Dr. Shaw who was recently assigned to the local Air Force Base Hospital. (She had not been supportive at first, but became my ally eventually. That is a lesson of advice for you if you meet resistance from the VA at any point.)

Take notes. Remember everybody's name (people respond well to someone who recognizes them and their humanity). Send thank-you notes to those people's supervisors. Thank them by name when hanging up. Even if they were no help, they did give of their time and will remember that you were polite. That carries weight with most people for the next time you call.

Good luck and smooth sailing!

Gentlemen, hello. I appreciate this forum in which to share as well as to learn. Turn 73 in a few months. Underwent robotic prostatectomy in December 2018 performed by an amazing doctor in Tucson, Dr. Benjamin Lee. He had just moved to the U. of A. as chief of the department of Surgery, Urology.

Taking tri-mix allows me to overcome my ED, but, I am hoping to find a way, post surgery, to rehabilitate myself back to the point where injections are not required. Let me know if I can help you with any of your questions or concerns.

New to the board, although I lurked a time or two in the past. I pulled the trigger and got the IPP on 6-12-20. I am 65 and been fighting the issue for about 20 years. Viagra was effective for a while but then it's benefit waned along with giving me migraine headaches after use about 50% of the time. I then did injections for about 10 years with increasing resistance over time with my last effective (50-75% of the time) dose being an entire syringe of super trimix. Because of the high dose and leakage issue (my problem from the beginning) it became the same as Viagra with the headaches occurring about 50% of the time. Also, the erection itself was only effective about 75% of the time. I could see where this was going, so began working toward IPP surgery. Turned 65 last August and got on medicare (off of work insurance) in May so finally had the surgery. I have the Coloplast Titan. Not the One Touch, but the older style pump. 20 CM cylinders with 1 CM RTEs and the 125 CL reservoir filled to 90. I'm on day 8 and I feel that I am doing very well. I was black and blue very swollen initially, but already look pretty normal with scrotum back to normal size and very easily feeling the landmarks on the pump without pain. Well, that's my story. I'll be around.
I am 68 and have been married for 50 years. I had ED for about 20 years. Treated with Viagra (10 years) and injections (10 years), but finally built resistance in each case. Had IPP surgery on 6-12-20. Coloplast Titan 20 CM with 1 CM RTE.

Hello,

Thanks for having this forum....

I just received my confirmation, though I have been reading a lot in the last few days.....lots of good information.

I am 72 years old and have been having various problems for a few years. After reading about 'rejuvapulse', talked with my Dr. who referred me to another doctor in the group (very large all over the Chicago area). I am now working with an ED specialist.

I am having hydroceles on my testicles removed over the next few months (one at a time) and then a Titan (don't know which one) implanted. Of course I am looking forward to it...but keep getting nervous....

Thanks again for being here....means a lot to me and I am sure all the others.....

New member. 60 year old with ED since prostatectomy 8/01/2017. Just wanted say hello. Had implant done 9/03/20. So I am just about 5 weeks out. My surgery was done at Lake Norman Regional Hospital in Mooresville, NC. My surgeon Ashley Tapscott was/is fantastic.

Hello! I live in Florida, I'm 42 years old. I have an erectile dysfunction for a long time, it doesn't respond to drug therapy... So, I decided on penile implants. It's morally hard for me, but I read your stories and it helps me to put up with it. Thanks everyone

Hello to all from North Dakota. I am 73 and married for 44 years. I have been using viagra and cialis but found that neither of
them would work, so I decided to try a VED and have had some success but still in the stages of finding the right ring or rings
that will stop the leakage after pumping to an erection. I believe this is a fantastic forum, something that is needed badly by
many men. There are not many places you find to discuss these issues and feel safe about doing so. Thank you to everyone who
is trying to help me but more importantly, thank you to everyone who listens to me and understands the issues. I feel safe and
comfortable here, thank you all again. My screen name should be 1969ChevyC10, sorry about the mis-spelling, I was nervous.
Take care all and be safe......
used cialis, viagra, started pumping and using rings, just started injecting edex Jan of 2022
