Hello, new member here from the UK.
I’ve been looking here for some time. I’ve already found some great information (thanks to all for that) and thought now is the time to join. A good move - I’ve already found the members’ area really useful and hope I can contribute something in the future.
Briefly my circumstances:
64 years old, married 42 years, retired in 2019, live in the north of England.
Diagnosed with prostate cancer in July 2016 a couple of weeks before my 60th birthday and had 20 sessions of external beam radiotherapy plus hormone treatment for 12 months. Was also offered surgery but because I had a lung removed a few years prior it was felt that, as radiotherapy was probably equally effective for my stage (gleason 4+3 and no spread) whilst being less risky, that was the way to go. So far so good with 6-monthly PSA checks all OK.
Few problems during treatment but until hormone treatment ended all interest in sex stopped. Over time sexual thoughts and desire returned but erections difficult and unreliable. I persevered but little improvement so my doctor prescribed viagra which was better but still not great. I then experimented with a vacuum pump and cock ring which worked in conjunction with viagra allowing full penetrative sex for the first time in a couple of years.
Now have regular sex using these but occasionally I can’t reach orgasm without vigorous manual stimulation and sometimes libido fluctuates.
I don’t dry orgasm but my cum volume is reduced and it doesn’t shoot out as before so no target practice any more. It’s also clear and very sticky. Sensation is also different, less intense but in other ways still very pleasurable and lasts longer with 3 or 4 times as many spasms or “squirts”.
Luckliy my wife is very understanding, tolerant and supportive. She loves sex and always has. Having gone through menopause she still likes sex as much if not more. Where needed we’ve adapted making more use of oral and toys and I have to confess to occasional use of porn when libido flags as well as to get ideas for new experiences.
I hope I can make useful contributions to this community and thanks for having me.

Hello, new member from the UK.
Born 1956, married late 70s and still happily married.
Radiotherapy for PC 2016 left me with ED. Viagra not good enough on its own so experimented with VED, result biggest hard-on and staying power. My wife loves it and can't get enough, happy days again!

Welcome to the forum, aonman. It is good to have men share their experiences so each of us knows we are not alone and that the range of effects is far wider than one man may comprehend. Thus each of us will feel less alone and less like we are outside of "normal".

Welcome from a fellow Brit
Happily married since 1990, mild ED, lost weight, got BP down and can still get good natural erections. Take Viagra if I'm feeling tired or stressed
