New Member using Muse

Postby Potomac » Tue Mar 26, 2013 6:15 am

Hello Everyone, I am from Georgia,
I am post robotic prostate surgery 2 years now and looking for the winning combination for my ed. So far like many of you I have used all the pills with little success. I used the pump for a while till that got old. The pump works but I’ve struggled with the thing in the past. Now I am trying out Muse 250. First use was me solo. Lubed it up and inserted the pellet. Only the top portion of my penis plumped. It had a swollen appearance. Moderate pain but no good for sex. I am looking for a better delivery of the Muse suppository (if any) that will distribute the medication evenly up and down the shaft.

Thanks potomac

Your story sounds just like mine , I had the same results with Muse . Injections seem to be the next logical progression , read all you can on this site , and ask any questions you need to find out all you can about them .....there is a wealth of information on here .
Radical prostatectomy Mar . 2010 age 63 , everything good except for ED . Have tried the big three pills , VED , and Muse , results unsatisfactory . My trimix formula is : 25MG Papa ,.8 MG Phento , 8 MCG /M PGE 1

Pot,

Yes, a 250mcg MUSE probably won't do much for a 100% ED from prostate surgery patient. But the doc will always start with those anyways just to see how you react. Kind of an expensive experiment yah?

Former Prostate surgery patients would likely need 1000mcg MUSE -- and it will probably ache .. a LOT.
Also you can experiment with 2x250mcg to see how that goes .. and then 3x250mcg to see how that goes.
By then you will know if you will need a 500mcg or 1000mcg prescription -- or you'll hate it and move on to Trimix.

I still keep my MUSE prescription going so i can use the rocket power of 1000mcg PGE1 as a penile rehab .. by dissolving it in 3 or 4 mls of pure water and splooshing 1 ml urethrally. Allows me to get 18-24 splooshes from 1 pack so I can have a pretty good Chub every night of the month (not including additional actual 100% hards when Trimix is used).

i get MUSE at a good price (30 dollars for 6 sticks) so I don't mind spending the money for this indulgence.

Both CVSCaremark and Medco both offered 18 sticks (90 day supply ) for between 70 and 90 dollars co-pay.

(The actual cost retail is at least $200 per 6 sticks.)

Hi
I tried MUSE. 250 had no effect, 500 had no effect, 1000 made the glans great, BUT, as you say, the shaft was no use. I`ve even tried 2000 with Viagra. Was OK. None of those dosages of MUSE gave me any pain or burning, so I suppose I`m lucky there. As so many posts have said, Caverject gives you a great hard, but leaves the glans a bit undernourished.
As the MUSE gave me an engorged glans, I was thinking of trying a dose of that and a dose of Caverject - once I get the Caverject to the sort of level where it gives a reasonable hard, but not for too long. No-one else seems to have tried that combination though.

I tried MUSE. Sometimes it worked; sometimes it didn't. And I didn't like the way it burned in my urethra. So I moved on down the line of E.D. solutions.

Welcome, Shaker. I'm new also. I tried MUSE 100mg (1000mcg) a few months ago because my uro had a sample and suggested I try it in his office. Really was painful for me, although maybe it would have helped had I urinated first per the instructions. I haven't tried it since. Think I'll move on to either injections or vacuum therapy. Good luck to you!
ED since using SSRI antidepressants. Unable to maintain erection sufficient for penetration. Tried PDE5's, VED, injections. AMS 700 CX implanted 8/1/2022, penoscrotal by Dr. McVary, Loyola medical center. 15cm + 1.5 and 1.0 RTE's. 65 ml reservoir.
