Anyone had experience or know anything about Dr. Meyer's and/or NW Sexual Medicine in Portland OR?
He says they do Penile implants, but I have never seen them mentioned on this site. If they are a good as any, really prefer not traveling, and I live in Portland with my son who could look after me post Op.
But Medicare will pay for it, so no reason to go second class just to avoid expense and inconvinience of long distance travel.
Any Opinions?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Anyone familiar with Dr. Meyer's at NW Sexual?
Bear in mind that the devices are standardized and thus the surgeon is the most important variable. I stayed in the hospital overnight, both for pain management and IV antibiotics and then drove myself home, over 200 miles, the next day. I needed abaout two weeks off from work but didn't really require "care" outside the hospital.
I am sixty-six years of age and dealing with gradually worsening ED for twenty years. At sixty-three I wanted something that worked reliably. I got an AMS 700 LGX implant in 6/25/13. I am entirely pleased with the outcome. My surgeon was Dr. Karpman.
