New to the group and went bionic yesterday.

Postby eddie054 » Sat Apr 29, 2023 4:53 pm

Had the AMS 700 installed yesterday. Wow! The bruising is unbelievable, Most of all, it was done on a Friday and I have to wait until Monday to get the catheter out.
Implanted with AMS 700 LGX on April 28, 2023. Viagra no longer worked and tried injections but didn't always work and felt achy.
68 years old.

I was lucky. I stayed overnight in the hospital and had the catheter our the next day before leaving.

I will tell you that it was a blessing not to have to get up to urinate. Getting out of bed with the soreness in my abdomen from the site of the reservoir was worse than the penis/scrotum discommfort.

Welcome to the site, eddie054.
