New member; hard flaccid sufferer

Postby fucked0ne » Fri Dec 08, 2023 7:14 pm

Hello everyone!

I registered with FrankTalk about a week ago to peruse the board, but have finally found the balls to introduce myself.

I've been suffering for four years now with erectile dysfunction due to hard flaccid syndrome, all the hallmark symptoms, which, until recently, I believed was an anomalous occurrence exclusive to myself. It came on during a period of intense, protracted stress due to "idiopathic" symptoms, later identified with a hard-to-diagnose bacterial infection that had become systemic. Infection is now cleared up, but nothing seems to work to relieve the condition (pulsed radial waves; stretches to loosen pelvic floor; nitric oxide boosters; even TRT). I turn forty this month, and so I'm now giving serious consideration to an implant.

Any suggestions anyone could give me to help with this condition would be greatly appreciated. I would especially appreciate it if someone could direct me to anyone who currently has an implant who also had hard flaccid, whom I could potentially contact with pertinent queries.

Hope everyone is well, and that they're so far having a good holiday season.

Thank you,
fucked0ne (probably could've chose a better handle)

There's an interesting post from a young doctor who discovered that he had this problem: "Fed1981" 9-3-20 in the Hard/Flaccid topic.
Age 79 in 2024. On testosterone replacement due to hypothalamus malfunction. (Attention depressed guys: low testosterone is a cause.) Healthy health nut but ED due to getting old. Like to keep enough cardiovascular ability to thrust for 30 min.

Welcome, Sorry you have to be here, glad you found us. Please go to www.pelvicrehab.com to find a pelvic floor specialist near you. As you have discovered, drs just have no knowledge of this condition which is thought to affect 20% of all men to some degree. Treatment requires many different modes simultaneously...PT, meds, therapy, exercises, etc. Start getting a good evaluation and the PT can probably help guide you.

Thank you, guys, for the advice.

Paul, do you think a chiropractor would be of some help?

a chiropractor will not help in the least. You need a physical therapist specialist.
