Hello
Hi, my name is Bruce and I live in Australia. I had a radical prostatectomy with nerve sparing almost two years, but the nerves haven't recovered. I have tried all the usual, including Viagra, Cialis and injection therapy. The tablets did next to nothing, and I had a lot of pain with Caverject. My doctor started me on bimix, but within three months I developed scarring and I now have the beginnings of Peyronie's. My urologist is now recommending I have a penile implant. I've been doing my reading and rather like the sound of the AMS 700 LGX. However, I've read it's not suitable for people with peyronies. I've also read that the Coloplast Titan doesn't give a very natural look when flaccid, and that doesn't appeal. I came across this site when researching the differences between the AMS and the Titan. I'd really appreciate any help as I will be seeing my urologist again in mid January. Making sure I get the model which is best for me is a big decision and one I don't want to get wrong!
Re: Hello
Hi Bruce - welcome glad you found us.
We seem to have had a pretty similar journey and by the sounds of it you're reaching the same conclusion as I did.
I had an AMS700LGX implant fitterd back in July 2013 and it's looking like for me it was the best thing I have done.
My blog will give you a rough idea whats gone on but feel free to message me if you want a chat or any info.
Cheers for now
Dave

Re: Hello
Welcome to FT Bruce.
You say that you suffer from both ED and Peyronies Disease (Curvature of the Penis).
It is my understanding that most Implant Surgeons prefer the Coloplast Titan for men with Peyronies Disease since the Titan
material of construction (Bioflex) is stronger and better corrects the penile curvature.
Also, I was implanted with the Coloplast Titan in December 2007 after developing ED Post-Prostatectomy in 2004.
The Implant completely corrected my ED and restored the emotional bond with my wife.
To address your point, my Titan Implant is perfectly comfortable in the flaccid state, e.g., I still swim wearing a Speedo
Racing Suit and have never felt at all self-conscious about my Implant.
Hope this has been helpful.
Please feel free to PM me with any non-medical questions or just to talk.
