Hey guys. I just joined and wanted to say how much these forums are a real help. My dad had prostate cancer in his 70s and so I have been watched fairly closely since my 40s. At 64 I was diagnosed and had my prostate gland removed robotic surgery 22 months ago. I am 66 now.... no detectable PSA ...and will be watched for the next 10 years. Though I had "nerve sparing" surgery, I have ZERO erections of any quality and have resigned myself to the fact that they will never return. I am in great shape and great health. I am married and my wife and I are navigating our way through to regaining our sexlife.

Ejefowe - welcome to the club. I too had a father that had PC. I was diagnosed in 2019 and did active surveillance until August of last year when I had my robotic RP.
I have not had a nocturnal or natural erection since. It’s crazy to be able to have an erection one day then voluntarily doing something like surgery that changes your life forever. As I mentioned in my post today, I got my first erection using an injection.
You’ve done well to find this site. The guys on this site, in my opinion, are more informed and knowledgeable on the subject of ED than most Drs. These guys have lived it and are willing to help those like us that are just starting our journey to getting our active sex lives back.
Good luck bro! Feel free to PM me with ?’s
