Hello!

Postby blimpy82 » Mon Jan 20, 2014 7:48 am

Hello.

My name is blimpy. This is my first post. I suffer from ED since I was 25 (I'm 31 now). I don't know the cause, neither do the many specialists I visited.
I am currently on 10 mg cialis + 20 mg yohimbine + 5 g l-arginine and it works about 50% of the times.

I've done every test there and therapy there is to no avail. I'm especially interested in getting to a conclusion on the cause by talking to people with well identified causes. Particularly I may have venous leak or it may be neurogenic. I reckon that if I knew how it feels to have one or another, I could differentiate.

Here's the list of things I went through:

- testosterone injections + anastrozole (inhibits convertion of testosterone into estrogen)
- levotiroxine (suspected thyroid problem)
- cavernosography, cavernosometry (to check for venous leaks)
- alprostadil injections (not very effective)
- psychotherapy
- rigiscan tests
- evoked potentials neurological test
- lumbar sacral mri

Right now I'm feeling pretty worn out from all these exams and I'm thinking of quiting. Not having a diagnosis, I don't want to go for a prosthetis yet (who knows, it might be psychological after all).

I've gone through so many tests, visited so many specialists and read so much about the subject that I feel that maybe I can contribute to this forum. If you want to ask me about my experience don't hesitate.

So that's it, here's my introduction. Hello :-)
