Hello all,
New member to the "club"!
A little about me, 70 year old man, had nerve sparing rrp in 2007. Cancer contained, margins clean, no detectable psa for the last seven years. I'm very fortunate!
No incontinent issues to speak of. Some ed issues, while else would I be here! lol
Very active, tennis two to three times a week, golf at least once a week, still carry my clubs. Watch my diet, take med's for BP, it's in my genes, both parents, siblings.
Single, last girlfriend was three years ago. Successful intercourse with trimix injections. Minimal drinker, I do smoke some weed, usually for masturbation, it makes it much more intense!
I also take cialis, levitra, and viagra on occasion and get decent erections while alone. Have also used ved's for erections but not for intercourse.
However, for my last two sexual encounters, I relied solely on levitra with a c ring and couldn't succeed at penetration. I would like to be able to rely solely on pills.
I have been very vigilant in making sure that I get adequate blood flow to my penis. Watch porn, masturbate, have intercourse when I can. I probably masturbate two to three times a week.
I'm wondering if I didn't masturbate as often, I might have better luck with penetration. The problem is that I don't have enough self control to test that theory!
Have I overdone the penile health regimen at the expense of having intercourse with a woman?
The last time I had penetration I injected and didn't use a condom. Other times I have used a condom with injections I didn't maintain an erection.
I also belong to another online site called pcai (prostate cancer and intimacy) and much of the discussion is about implants. So I'm sort of wrestling with the idea of an implant.
To summarize, I am able to maintain an erection for masturbating sometimes with, sometimes without pills. But when it comes to intercourse, I have a problem.
Am I getting too used to my hand? lol
I guess masturbating can interfere with intercourse.
Any comments?

Re: Hello All
sweetswing1 ... Welcome to FT ...
It's doubtful that going solo would interfere with Intercourse ... it's curious that you state injections are successful, but then say injecting (with condom) didn't maintain your erection.
Have you tried pumping and using a ring to achieve an erection? The "pills" may not be enough by themselves ... since you are taking BP meds. You may have to do the pills and pumping on "rehab" days ... and resort to injecting for intercourse.
An Implant is great ... but only should be considered when injecting is no longer effective ... have you mentioned to your URO about maybe changing your Trimix formula?
