I just turned 61 and I'm 2 1/2 years post RRP. I've used a VED most mornings for the past 2 years, mostly to be stretched out and prepared for an implant. I found a formulation of Trimix 30/2/2 that works pretty well for me. It took a few different formulations to find one that didn't hurt by decreasing the amount of Alprostadil to 2mcg. While the injections work, I'm really interested in getting an implant. I'm not crazy about injecting my penis. I've been an emergency room RN for 34 years and have no problem starting IV's on anyone, but the needle in the penis thing is not fun. The pain is minimal, but I still flinch when I think about it. One of the reasons for my interest in an implant is that every time I look at my inert and smaller than it used to be penis, I get depressed. I'm hoping that an implant will increase my walking around penis size. I know that sounds a little shallow, but it's the truth. I'd like to hear someone speak to that issue who has had an implant. Anyway, I'm looking for a good implant Doc in the North Florida region near Tallahassee. I'll look forward to any replies to this post and thanks.

Hi, Mooshoe..welcome to Frank Talk..I, too, just became a new member. I am still looking for the right amount to inject for a proper erection. Reference to the size since the operation two years ago this November, "IT" seems to have shrunk down. I,too,get a better feeling with myself after my erection "lingers" around for a long time. Like I told my wife,it feels good just to grab something! Good luck on your plans for an implant..Moonman33
