Hi, new here.
Thanks for all the frank discussion and support you show for one another.
I am 74 years old. I am in very good health, slim and in shape. Recovering alcoholic sober going on 9 years. Prior to getting sober I was thirty pounds overweight, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Now all are normal. Early on Viagra worked for quite a while. Then for a long time it wasn’t hard enough for penetration, but was ok for my wife to pleasure me. I then tried daily Cialis, worked well enough for hand jobs. When that stopped working, a year ago, I started Trimix. It took a while to find a dose that worked well enough for penetration. But, it also is going the way that viagra did.
I have an appointment with Dr Munarriz in three weeks. Presuming he agrees that surgery is a good option, I have lots of questions that I’m sure will be answered by him or guys here, But, right now I need to know what the first few months post op are like because we were planning an overseas trip in early October. Am I likely going to want to sit in a plane for a long flight? I’m no stranger to post op pain; I’ve had many surgeries to fix thing that broke or just didn’t work right.
Ready to see the doc.

Re: Ready to see the doc.
Have you ever tried a VED (penis pump) and tension ring(s), to obtain an erection? It's a lot easier than getting surgery, if it works for you. Good luck with whatever you decide.

I'm in my early 70's. Serious problems with ED started in my early 60's. ED drugs were eventually not effective enough. Aquired VED pump and constriction rings in 2024 which provides usable erections for sexual activity.

Depends on when you get it, I would say if you get it in July you should be fine for October, September I would wait till I got back.
