I am a 58 year old male with ED as result of Prostatectomy approx. 15 years ago.
After recovering from surgery, sex was just ok, used Viagra and Cialis with some success. Eventually nothing worked. I have not had "normal" sex with my Wife for years. I use "toys" (Vib, Gels, strap on..etc) to satisfy Wife, she seems happy, I've become an oral Expert!. The result of my ED is severe depression and strained relationship.
I am seriously considering an implant (Titus, 3 pc, inflatable from Coloplast). Surgery was scheduled. I was very apprehensive and my Wife was "nervous" and concerned about my pain. I do have a high pain tolerance. The invasiveness had me a bit concerned about complication, infection.. Etc.
I called my Doc and voiced my concerns. He cancelled surgery and advised that we try other options first, Vacuum, Injections.. etc. I am willing to try other options, except injections.
I am open to any advice, suggestions or opinions.
Thanks very much.

Edward 58- injections are easy and little or no pain. Any pain felt is insignificant. There are few nerves in the area you shot so if pain is an issue reconsider.
Retired. R.P. 2016. Bilateral nerve sparing surgery. Now use .15cc of Bimix twice weekly & anorgasmia, moderately incontinent. Wife no longer interested so go solo with Electro-stim using Erostek ET-312. Now am Type 2 diabetic.

Paul, thanks for approving my admission into thir group. I've got lots to learn before I see my uro in May. I'm pretty much decided to get Coloplast Titan. A bit nervous but determined. This ED has gone on for approx 20 years. Time to get my sexual life, confidence and self respect back. I want to feel like a man again. Thanks again
Born 1958. AMS CX - 18cm + 2cm RTEs. Implanted 5/22/17 by Dr John Carroll Of SE Mass. ED for 20 years Venous leak. Tried all PDE5 drugs with little success.

Hello,
I'm a new registered member as of today. Thank you for accepting me into this group. I am 45 years old. I've been looking at this site for advice. I ended up getting the Coloplast Titan XL penile implant. The date of Surgery was April 28, 2017. I'm in recovery stage now. I'm a little worried now 13 days in and I don't know what to expect. I think I'm a little paranoid that something is wrong with my implant. I came to this site to ask questions and get advice for some of the things I'm going through now. Hopefully some of you can help me through this process. Thanks for any replies and advice.
