I've looking for answers and have come across this site and am thankful for it and all the suggestions and experience found here. Unlike many of the men here, I have not had any prostrate surgery, just a gradual decline over many years. Not needing any counseling, but here is my story to help members here with suggestions:
I am currently 58, not over weight, no diabetes, and in excellent health. Married for 29 years. Ex wife had an affair 20 years ago and I was on a anti depressant for a couple of months and noticed that I couldn't get hard, a side effect. Ended the pills, and then was celebate for seven years. Was in a subsequent relationship for eight years. Hardness was sporadic, so starting using Viagra 25 mg, with good results. Over the eight years, found that I needed higher dosages of Viagra, Cialis or Levitra, but they all worked.
Relationship broke up a year ago. Met a woman a few months later and used Levitra without success, so I popped a Viagra and after running out of patience, also popped a Cialis, all within a couple of hours. I was ultimately able to have sex, but it was way too much work.
Several months ago, I met another woman and the wanted everything to work. New prescription of 100 mg Viagra and 20 mg of Levitra and just semi hard, but not enough for penetration. Went to the Dallas Male Medical clinic, ( similar to Boston) and paid $250 for five sublingual Viagra tablets. Absolutely nothing happened.
I then went to another urologist and did blood work and found that my testosterine was low, 220. I''ve been giving myself T injections for a few months and my T level is up to 500, but no difference in my ability to get an erection on demand. He has given me a box of MUSE and the results have been mixed. I tried all strengths 1000, 500 and 250, along with a 100 mg viagra pill one hour prior. Instructions are to urinate and then insert the pellet. I've noticed that if I just urinate a very little and then insert the pellet the effect is minimal, but if I urinate quite a bit then insert the pellet and rub the penis, the effect is great. Now that I've discovered this, I found that each MUSE application is $45. The woman is very understanding, but I can tell that she is a bit frustrated, as am I, wondering, is it going to work tonight...
I need to get my penis to work when it needs to work and don't want to lose this woman over this. Want to go away this weekend with her, but am now out of the MUSE samples and am just embaressed to go, doubting that I will be able to perform.
Insurance won't pay anything for ED medications and $45 an episode is unworkable over the rest of my life.
Suggestions???
I'm thinking that injections will be the recommendations. TRIMIX and self injection into the penis?
Any feed back will be greatly appreciated.

Nice meeting you in chat tonight. You'll find support and encouragement here, and hopefully some answers as well. Hang in there!

Jeff,
I, too, was glad to find this site almost a year ago. The information is incredible and the friendships are amazing.
I have been using trimix injections since last November and couldn't be happier. From the first use to the most recent, I get wood like a 19 year old. I urge you to see your urologist TODAY about injections. Maybe he can even fix you up for the weekend. The sheer sensory pleasure of a long-lasting, rock hard erection is beyond words. Go for it!

Re: Greetings Friends
From one Jeff to another check into the injections. I like you tried MUSE and in my case it was very painful. Decided after the 2nd try that it was not for me.. Yep I had to drop $200 for my box of 6. mmmmm What a ripoff.
Moved to injections and could not be happier. Much better results with lay less expense. Should I say "More Bang for your Buck!"
By the way I see Greg just posted to you. We live 5 min from each other. Had dinner last night with LittleJohn.
