I want some peace with this
I am 33 years old and I have ED. I have had this problem over a year due to hemodialysis. I tried viagra and that doesn't work. I started Trimix and the first time it worked wonders. The second time not so lucky. I am scared my wife who is 30 is going to leave me. She has been real supportive, but all I want to do is to please her. I feel less of a man and want some help. I just want to be fixed soon. Any suggestions on why the TRimix didnt work.

Re: I want some peace with this
I think that one failure with Trimix should not cause you to think that it will never work again. It could be that you didn't inject properly the second time, perhaps getting the angle of the needle wrong or maybe not at the right position on the shaft of your penis. I have injected about twelve or thirteen times now, and I have had only one failure. Even using Trimix, I find that there is still a psychological component to getting an erection and keeping it for successful intercourse. I have also found that standing after the injection and continuing to "massage" my penis, as well as thinking positive thoughts anticipating sex for about ten minutes or so makes a significant difference. Try to focus on the pleasurable sensations of sex with as little anxiety as possible. Keep us posted on your continued progress with Trimix. Littlejohn

Mack, Little John is correct. one failed attempt with TriMix does not mean that it has quit working. Even those of us that have been injecting for a while will have days that we miss the spot to make JR stand up. Do not give up. If you had success with your first attempt im confident that you will be successful again.

Mack,
I agree with the other guys, don't panic and don't give up. Tell you wife what you are going through and tell her you plan on finding a solution for both of you. Also, if you use a compounding pharmacy as I did for your tri-mix, talk to the pharmacist. The guys I used were super helpful, offering information on proper injection techniques, etc. Also, as they told me, tri-mix isn't the last gasp, I ended up going to quad-mix and it worked for me better than the tri-mix. They can also play with the "mix" of the components to help you out. Consider using a c-ring when injecting to help make the most of the medication. I pulled mine off after about 5 minutes, but if I started to "fade", I could always put it back on to help out.
If all of this, and other suggestions don't give you satisfactory results, you can always do what I did and become bionic! Don't give up, man. Think HARD and get HARD!
BTW, I get the less of a man part. I'm a big strong guy, and I had E D in my teens! Imagine how I felt, a decent looking young stud of a guy who's dick got limp the minute I stuck it in. Talk about feeling less manly! I came to learn what caused my problem, accepted it, and eventually took the bionic leap (at age 59). What a boost to the self esteem! But realize, there is more to being a man than a hard dick. Let your wife know how you feel and what you fear. Ask her to help reassure you and get you through this. And remember all your friends here on FT are in your corner and willing to help and support.
Best of luck!
Dave

Re: I want some peace with this
Hi Mack,
I came to this site a few weeks ago, and had lived a long time with an attitude about sex that was not getting me anywhere. Im 67, but making nice love even at my age is something sorely missed believe me. However, I gotten tired of pills, and was actually pe-od at two of my docs who I expected to fix me up on their time. I had just sort of sat back and given up on getting hard again and drilling my bride. I was Wrong!!---most docs are overworked as it is and don't care if you get laid or not. That's up to you to find out what works. Stay on this site, lots of stories about success here, failures too, there is encouragement, but I think you will get a new attitude if that is what might be needing fixed too. You have youth in your favor man, so look up to many here who are past 70, and still fighting back. You'll make it, just don't quit.

Hi Mack,
First of all, take the advice of Cajun Jeff and do not give up on Trimix because of one poor result.
Many FT members have had wonderful results with Trimix --- check out their posts.
Like Dave, I am a Charter Member of the Brotherhood of Bionic Boners for the past 4 years.
After developing ED Post-Prostatectomy in 2004 at age 65, my self-esteem was in the crapper and I seriously doubted my own manhood. I had been a jock for most of my life (lifting weights, swimming, playing ball, etc.). I kept thinking that I was in great physical shape for my age but that a very important part of my body was virtually useless. Very depressing!!!
Viagra and other ED Treatment Modalities did not satisfactorally work for me.
Finally, I was implanted in December, 2007 and, thankfully, this corrected my ED completely. At this point, I had suffered
with ED and its devastating side-effects for over 3 years.
Most important for me was regaining my sex life and the emotional intimacy with my wife of 45 years (my High School Sweetheart). Mack, don't despair!! There is definitely a solution for your ED out there.
Best of luck,
Bob
