DudeinFL wrote:So I was 8 inches pre op, and yes we discussed the gains/losses post op. He basically told me everyone is different and he wouldn't know until the surgery, but told loss of 2 inches could be possible. I was ok with the trade-off cause that's fine and at least the average length. I mean I'll take 6 now.

I'm not sure what VED pre-op and cycling post-op are, going to assume "no" for that.

Everything you've said points to a fact that this surgery was just one big hack job.
VED is a pump and I bet your next surgeon (this time - high-volume and known one) will introduce you to such devices. Cycling is just a process of pumping post-surgery, done daily for some period of time to reclaim what length was lost in the process.
I'll add one more name to these that @Txagq8 mentioned and that's dr Billy Cordon in Miami. Great reviews from his patients here and on Google, and I've got a young friend who's going through consultations for the implant with him and he can't praise him enough. I think it was dr Cordon to whom dr Eid was re-directing his patients when he was on a sick leave.
Hope is there. Missing inches are likely to be regained, but this will take some work from your side too. Keep updating us and stay away from that previous doctor of yours.

Corporal fibrosis after ED - Traction + VED to regain size - seeing great results

Hello dudeinFl. Sorry to hear about your troubles with getting successfully implanted. I agree with others on here that you should not give up on getting a new implant, and you will almost certainly have a much better outcome with the right doctor. A number of people on FrankTalk have faced the problem of having to pay out of pocket due to lack of insurance coverage. One option that has come up a number of times is going outside the United States, specifically to have a Rigicon Infla10 IPP placed. Even with the cost of lodging and airfare this works out to be significantly less expensive than paying out of pocket in the U.S. You can search on this forum and find the names of the surgeons people have used. The biggest experience with these implants is in Turkey. In your situation one of the Infla10 IPPs might have a significant advantage since the longer sizes are larger in diameter than both the AMS and Coloplast implants. According to this article (doi.org/10.1111/bju.15960) the longest Infla10 x and axe cylenders expand to a diameter of 22 to 24 mm.They are relatively new on the market and long term survival isn't known but device survival at 5 years has been reported to be similar to the AMS and Coloplast IPPs. The Infla10 IPPs are multilayer silicone, so would have the softer feel associated with AMS IPPs. Hope this helps you. Good luck.
