Thanks for all of the replies. As an update, I've regained pretty good and consistent nocturnal activity for about the past 6 months, but unfortunately I've seen basically zero improvement in my resting and erect states (has anyone ever had a tissue/penis recovery after this?). I think so much damage occurred during those first 9 months of being misdiagnosed/untreated that there's not enough quality tissue left. I did some extensive pelvic floor work, to no avail. I'm not going the route of injections as one of the criteria very important to me is that I have a "walking around" penis that's ready to go. I'm looking at getting a Doppler test to get a better picture of the state of my penis, I'm considering getting some injection therapy (probably a scam, but I'm in a desperate spot here), and I have a new appointment with the surgeon next month. It looks like I'm headed for an implant as I'm not going to be able to do too many more days in my dead micro penis state.

Hi brother,
First off, thank you for your honesty. Your post really hit home for me—especially the part about going from high-functioning and confident to suddenly being in a place of confusion, grief, and feeling like your body betrayed you. I know that darkness too well.
I'm 48 now. My situation was different in that I used to have a history of opiate addiction. Later, I was prescribed penile injections to help with ED, which ended up doing more harm than good—they triggered Peyronie’s disease, and with that came a whole lot of psychological fallout.
Like you, I saw several doctors, got shrugged off or misdiagnosed, and was left feeling like no one really understood the emotional toll—how deeply this stuff impacts a man’s identity, confidence, and sense of worth.
Rather than try to squeeze everything into a forum reply, I recently made a video series where I lay it all bare. Even though your situation is different, I talk about the physical and emotional devastation of sexual dysfunction, including Peyronie’s and the sense of helplessness it brings.
