I've tried to us rings. I have a cheap VED and it will make a decent erection but when I remove it, my penis goes limp before I can get the ring on good.

As for the rings. I don't know what rings you tried. I was not talking about rings for use with a VED. You weren't using the rings with a VED correctly anyhow. For use with a VED you place the ring on the VED tube, pump up an erection and then slide the ring off the tube onto your dick while still under vacuum. Medical grade VEDs should have an applicator to make putting the ing on the tube easier. That method works best with special medical grade constriction rings that will hold the erection. However because they stop almost all blood flow to hold the erection they are limited to 15 to 20 minutes of wear or risk tissue damage.

I was talking about rings with less tension that still allow some blood exchange so don't have the strict wear time limit but provide some squeeze or constriction that can boost but not replace the pills or injections. Go look at the Cock Ring thread in the "Members Only" sub-forum.

Finding another PCP would take forever. It seems that getting an appointment with any doctor around here takes forever. My appointment with the urologist isn't for a couple months.
The vacuum device that I have is just a cheap one. I bought a Xialla ring that was $50 and gets high ratings. I don't think it would go over the tube since the tube diameter is quite large.
Hopefully, my urologist appointment will be worthwhile. I was just curious what I could expect for my first visit.

Welcome Curious2. One good thing is you found Frank Talk where there is a lot of good information and support.
Nervous for that first urologist appointment is understandable. If they are a men's sexual health urologist remember they have seen and heard it all so no need to be shy discussing anything. Let them know everything happening sexually. The doctor may do a doppler test, where they will inject your penis with a drug that should cause an erection, then check your blood flow via ultrasound. They should discuss different methods to help you get and maintain erections for intercourse. If you're not comfortable with the doc, as much as it takes a long time to schedule another appointment, do it until you find a doc who is compassionate, willing to listen and help.

Thanks for the reply Old Guy. As far as I know, my appointment is with a "standard" urologist. I'll try to do a search for "mens health urologist".
I just hope to get some help even if it is a first appointment. Not just a meet and greet and then a referral to someone else that will take months.
Im waiting for an unrelated appointment that my PCP referred me for that's been over a month now. I've even called the place to make sure they have my info and everything is good. All I'm told is how backed up they are. We need more doctors in this country.

Curious2, I have to agree with SWorks17, let us know your location and someone may know of a doctor to refer. Posting your signature bio info would help too.

I'll try to update the signature. I didn't even think about that. This forum format looks a lot different than the other forums I belong to.

You might want to narrow it down a little more than that to the closest metro area.

I've been away for a while on vacation. Sorry for the late reply but I am closest to the Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Roanoke area.

For what its worth, I am a Canadian Snowbird that vacations in Arizona. I found Franktalk and found a way out of this ED mess. Like you I had been completely limp for the last 7 years and am 68 years old. The pills stopped working completely
So I had no medical advice from the US and a 1 year wait for a Urologist in Canada.

So I circumvented the system and withing two weeks was injecting Trimix for great pornstar like sex. WOW.

I bought a VED and started working on the rejuvenation of a dead penis. About 2 inches resting, never hard.
Bit by bit my penis started to get longer and the girth really expanded.

Got on the phone with Olympia out of Tampa, they set up a phone call with a MD and within days I had my Trimix delivered to my rental in Yuma. To be honest I had two hit and misses, not one since. Now I have the best sex of my life at least once a week (I would do more but my wife is not as hyper-sexual as me).

Now instead of coming in 10 minutes we have had sessions of over an hours, rock hard all the time.

By the way I live in BC and finally saw my Urologist primarily to get more Trimix, but we did talk a bit about if the shots stop working. He dismissed Malleables completely like he knew nothing about them and said inflatable is the way to go. I would prefer a malleable if it comes to it, but the inflatable is covered by BC Health. Only a two year wait period.
I am in very good shape now, lost 60lb in the last year, walk an hour a day and have cut down my alcohol dramatically.
Trimix has changed my life.
Why wait, anyone can do what I did. Life is too damn short.
By the way, I work with the VED several times a week and my resting size is now 5" and erect almost 7 with a 6 inch girth. My wife is asking me not to expand any more but maintain as my penis is way bigger than 34 years ago. LOL.
However with this new cock she came over 30 times in our hour session. PM me if you wish.
