Bill:

Welcome to the clan. This is a good place and you will learn a lot here. With 6 weeks out from surgery- you seem to be doing well. May I assume you had the robotic surgery? I am also PCa with robotic surgery. Would suggest you talk with your doc about a penile rehab plan. If everything is going well it is probably time to start working the boys again. I also assume you sex drive has/is returning. If so, use him as much as possible. Yeah, you won't get hard yet and probably won't even have much size response- but it feels good and does remind everybody of their "responsibilities". Regardless of what you may think, you can get off and that is a good thing.

Under the treatments section pumps; suggest you consider a Prelude. It is a soft vac-type device that brings blood back into the shaft. It is not good for sex with a partner but it will begin the process for erections. I got one and very much enjoyed using it. The are not expensive and are easy to use. There are very good directions with pics to assist you.

If there is anything I can do to assist please let me know- this is a journey but a fun journey as you establish a new normal.

Join in the chat room as you can. It is a fun, supportive, sometimes bawdy place but the support and understanding is amazing. Regardless of the etiology of our ED, we all face the issues and go forward.

Regards,

Dick

Hey Bill,

Welcome to The Place .. like no other place on the Net.

One thing that you mentioned, that you were alone, got me thinking about what kind of motivation for regaining sexual activities, if any, would I have if I did not have a willing wife by my side every night. Possibly not much and would not have invested in viagra-cialis-levitra-pump-rings-penilesleeves-MUSE-trimix-gel-and-trimix-and-boatloads-of-astroglide-and-used-them-all-for-two-plus-years.

Then I got to thinking, what if I were single and was using Trimix as now (or had an implant -- which I don't but would probably be even better) and it became known about the Seniors Center that there was a Super Man who could-go-for-three-plus-hours-any-and-every-night-of-the-week-if-necessary and what THAT might do for Motivation? Not to mention the favorable percentage of 2 females per each sexually active male in the 70s age range. Nice.

Yeah .. that might be some Motivation. Hope you get some soon! Maybe convince your Uro (or find one) who will go for Trimix as a early rehab if you will be needing it (the implant should of course wait until the future).

RP 2008 ... MUSE 2008-9 .. TriMix Gel 2009 .. Trimix 2009-2015 ... PGE-1 2016-2019 ..Misoprostal 2019 Onward. All worked.
