Conflicting data, need help

This is DougAnd, Tues I go to schedule my surgery, I've chosen the AMS 700 LGX. Here's the problem. The first surgeon has advised me against an implant for years. The second surgeon said he would shrink my penis about one inch. The third surgeon said he couldn't even guarantee me 4.5 inches and my current surgeon simply promises me the best results possible. Really? My flaccid rest is 3.5 like most guys, my flaccid stretch id 6.5 and my max stretch is 7.1 inches. I've chose the AMS 70 LGX. So what do you guys think my results will be? Thanks in advance

Nobody can GUARANTEE you anything. I would pick the last one.

Milam commented a few moments before they rolled me into the operating room that "now I am going to go make your dick shorter". Member donbecker told me he told him the same thing before his surgery the next day and we both had shorter dicks. Take the asshole that says you will lose an inch to his/her word. Some docs can cut and sew but can't measure to save their ass or don't give a damn but they are centers of excellence because they sell a lot of implants and advertise. As someone told me, most who get implants are bored old men on social security and are glad they can get hard, never question the doctor, so a shorter dick that gets hard is never questioned. Some doctors have a good record of preserving length base their reputation on it.

Wow! That is scary. I've invited the local AMS RN to my surgery. She promised to deliver within 1 MM of measurement. But if the Doc goes short, what can she do? If the measurement is short by 2 CM as most Docs do to make it easier for them then I will be about 1 inch shorter for life. Stay tuned for my results. At this point no sex for about 2 years so even a hard inch would be heavenly. Thanks guys, good advise

How about you other guys, I can see that some of you definitely had better results than an inch lost. This is the LGX and it advertises up to a 2 inch gain. Is that true? Has anyone started out shorter and ended up longer?

Doug, I think that it is an unfortunate misconception to say that when getting an implant you will almost always lose length. I think it mostly depends on the doctor's skills and training. Many of us who have not lost any length after an implant was inserted had to have patience for things to "adjust" down there, but in the end we are back to where we originally were in length (erect -- and frequently gaining length when flaccid/uninflated), plus we are hard like when we were younger. Happy patient here!

Thanks guys. I go in tomorrow to schedule surgery. Am excited. And hopeful. I should add that dr Androl in Italy implanted more than 100 men over a several year period. Those with the LGX were put into a study, about 48 guys. So before surgery he stretched their penis and took a measurement. Then he took a tightly stretched measurement inside during the surgery and the LGS was exactly the same length. The largest guys stretched 5.6 inches before surgery. During surgery the LGX was fully inflated and they measured 6 inches, a growth of .4( 2/5ths) of an inch right off the bat. Our American doctors are nuts, quacks, idiots. I'm asking my doctor to do the same thing as dr Androl so we'll see soon enough.

Dr. Bullock in St. Louis has a reputation of telling people he does not care if your dick is 12" and you keep hot towels on it before surgery to keep it warm and if it is only 3 1/2" when you come out of surgery. All he cares is that 3 1/2" gets hard. I know. I've seen him. Others here know of his reputation for this. If a doctor tells you will have a shorted dick, he does not give a damn. Run so you do not have to help firebomb his office with other damaged patients later. d

I don't think you can say that 3.5" is "like most guys." Some guys maybe, close to average maybe, but not "most guys" (see pictures of
non-porn men's penises for verification). There is much more variation in the flaccid length than in the erect length ("growers" and "show-ers," for example).
