I’m a 61 year old man that has been using ED meds for 20 years. The meds, of any kind have been ineffective for about 2 years and hit or miss for probably five.
Last Friday I received my first Trimix injection at the doc’s office and oh my God was it great! The injection allowed incredible sex with an erection after orgasm, for about 2.5 hours.
I go back this Friday to received my script.
Several questions come to mind:
What happens if I cut the injection amount in half?
Most important how often can I inject? My doc say every three days but really?! I’ve read on here of people doing it more often. What’s the real skinny by real guys using Trimix.

Most of the injecting guys on FT have experimented with dosages to find the sweet spot that works for them. It's fairly common for guys to post that they've backed off a bit on dosage strength after an initial injection from the doc produced an erection in the 3-4-5 hour range. (I did.) It's also common to see posts from guys who have GRADUALLY increased their dosage as their bodies change and/or the medication becomes less effective for them.

With respect to injection frequency, the first word on Frank Talk is always: "Follow Your Doctor's Advice." But there seem to be a goodly number of guys who are injecting more frequently than their own doctors recommend. Let your conscience and your experience be your guide.

Pretty much every other day for me. Sometimes less and sometimes more.

and lasts for some 2 to 2 1/2 hours . I had a old dose of 4 months left and still worked but but had to inject 3.5 cc

I'll add on with info on storing and use techniques. Many of us freeze our trimix to extend shelf-life. Some freeze the entire vial, others freeze in the syringe containing your prescribed dose. I do the latter, when I get home with my 5ml vial -- I fill about 30+ syringes with my 15 unit dose and put them all in the freezer. When the wife's in the mood, I can pull a syringe out of the freezer, thaw it, inject and be hard in ten minutes.

I am finding that the efficacy of the trimix decreases while frozen for a few weeks, my erection is not as long lasting. On the next Rx, I am going to load some of the syringes with a higher dose (maybe up to 20 units) to use when frozen for an extended period.

I inject about twice a week, and alternate injection sites on left and right sides. Trimix is awesome!

I used Trimix for 12 yrs. and really liked it, hard for 2+ hrs and chubby for another hour. Another plus, I gained over an inch in girth, 6.5+", really loved that! But like all good thing it stopped working and could not stay hard so got implanted June of last year, LOVE my implant. So use it as long as it works for you and contact your doc if you start having problems. As far as freezing, most instructions say NOT to freeze. So if you want to try freezing, I would only freeze a small amount and then try it and see what happens, the stuff isn't cheep, you don't want to ruin a whole vile. Good luck and enjoy!

I wouldn't cut the dose in half but certainly try a little smaller dose if you want. You should never make big changes to your dose without consulting your doctor.

I'm currently at about 13 units for sex but 8 will do for therapy or chikin chokin. I've played with my dose on my own a good bit but then I didn't have any support from a good knowledgeable doctor. I was on Edex 20s, from my Uro who retired, but then got a script for Mono-mix from my PCP when my insurance quit covering Edex. The Mono-mix script from my PCP at 80mcg of PGE-1 per ml should have equaled an Edex 80, were such made, so I quartered my dose from 1ml to .25ml (25 units) but that put me in pain and priapism territory. So what should have been a mix 4 X my Edex 20 obviously isn't for some reason. So my script, written as I requested, says inject .25 ml (25 units) but I'm only doing .13 ml or 13 units (or 8 units).

Of course you should always ask your doctor and follow his/her advice.

I've used Mono-mix that's been frozen solid for a year that had little noticeable loss in potency. There have been a few reports posted on the forum of certain Tri-mix formulas having some ingredient(s) precipitating out when frozen but I believe most users freeze their meds.

Greetings...my 9 years w/ Trimix I always sought to find the lowest does which delivered the desired effects. I was cautioned at the onset of Trimix about the common trajectory of the injection regimen (ie, over time increasing drug concentrations and increasing doses to retain effect, pain at injection sites, bruising, hard/fibrotic tissue development). Over time, I experienced all of those to varying degrees and when it all got to be too much (and by "too much" I mean to say that I got to what was effectively a max dose of mix #13 and the pain and erection rigidity were both becoming too problematic. for me, anyway)...so I pursued implant.

So yes, always use the lowest dose to deliver the effect you want. Which obviously varies for us all. You will be fine tuning and tweaking. I was injecting 3-4 times per week and very often on back to back days/nights. Trimix was a wonderful ride which delivered absolute superhero long-duration crazy sex and for a lot of years and I wish the same for you!
