I’ve found new hope for the my non responsive member. It’s gotten very depressing having the desires for intimacy but not the inability to achieve the goal. The side affects of taking ED drugs was getting harder to deal with and now their results have become ineffective.
I stumbled onto having an implant and how they have become more common about a month ago and have been researching the internet and watching the gruesome videos of the operation. It’s a big step and I want it!
I have an appointment with a urologist here In Myrtle Beach that sounds promising as he does them and has attended a seminar that Dr Perito (meet the penis) gave. My appointment is January 2ond! Last night I ordered an Encore VED to start getting best friend back in shape. All prayers appreciated!!

Welcome, and congrats on taking big steps forward. Only advice at this juncture is make sure you script out all the questions you can imagine and that are relevant to you and write them out for your appointment. Get the answers you need and ask the doc pointed questions about his experience, ask him concrete verifiable questions about his track record/results, etc. Get the best urologist and surgeon you can afford, you'll never regret it.

Aside: I wondered where the saying came from. The internet showed me this:

Perito is a good surgeon and all advice given thus far you are going with. Excellent to work the VED now and hope for the best results.

Just wanted to tell you that you are on the right track now. I am scheduled for implant January 9th. I wish you the best of luck. I’m sure all will go well for you. These guys on FT are wonderful and so supportive. Let us know how you are doing! Take care.

My first appointment with urologist today. I was very impressed with Dr Jansen. He went over my past medical conditions and informed me that two medications I’ve been on cause ED. Finestride and the HTCz in my lisonipril. He did blood work and suggest I might want to get off Finestride and talk to family Dr about changing my BP meds. He wants me back next week to try trimix and depending on labs doing an mri. He said the implant is my call and he wouldn’t try and talk me out of doing it.
My wife was with me and he had me drop my drawers and he pulled my penis and said this is what you will have he pointed out in my penis head and showed where the tips would be. He showed where the penis meets the body is where the incision would be. And did prostrate exam.

Sounds like you got a good doctor, I hope the injections work for you, a lot less aggressive treatment. Jim
