Hello from the UK

I have just joined Frank Talk. I am 68 and have had some degree of ED since 1989. Until a few years ago Viagra did the trick but no longer so I now use alprostadil 40 micrograms either as Caverject or as another manufacturer (similar to the US Edex I imagine). We are lucky in the U.K. because some of us get this for free on the National Health Service. I would just mention something that seems to be missing from all the postings that I have read. An injectable called INVICORP ( a mixture of aviptadil and phentolamine) . It is currently imported from Sweden into the UK. It is licensed in both the UK and Sweden and New Zealand AND according to the information I have read in the United States. I am waiting to try it subject to my urologist's agreement. My pharmacist tells me that it is over 85% effective. It is pain-free (you can't say that about Caverject) and no cases of priapism have been seen and no cases of plaque. It is running £125 (say US$ 180) for 5 doses. It does require refrigeration. It is OK at room temperature for 3 days.
