Hey guys,
I’m Chris. I’m 34 and live in Florida. I’ve had ED for 10 years. Here’s my story.
I first started to notice there was a problem around 23 or so. At this point the ED wasn’t so bad. Over the next few years I really knew something was up so I got up the courage to go to a Urologist. The guy I saw was more of a old dude Prostate specialist, hence the dozens of guys in there 80’s in the waiting room. I was about 27 at the time. The doctor did a test and noticed a problem. He sent me to a Specialist. It was a Doctor at USF. I believe he is the chief Urologist there. He did some painful tests and found that both arteries in the penis were collapsed. He said it probably had as a result of riding a bike or a injury during sex. I think it was biking based on how much I was riding at the time in question. I can’t stress enough how easy it is to permanently damage yourself down there on a bike. Anyways, The doctor sent me to Boston medical to see a surgeon to fix the problem. He performed a rare and risky surgery called Arterial Revascularization. They take donor vessels from the abdomen and use the fix the arteries. The surgery was a success but things got worse from there. Ultimately I was given very little post op instructions and I didn’t realize that the penis should really be in traction after the surgery. I lost a considerable amount of length and girth as a result of this. Also Peyronie’s disease began to form a few weeks after surgery. Overtime the Peyronie’s Got worse and robbed me of even more length and girth. My doctor combated this with Ziaflex injections 3 times. After each of these injections I had tremendous swelling and had to go to the hospital. This was all incredibly painful and I still have bubble hematoma scar that is palpable on the top of my penis. This treatment did ultimately cure most of my curvature. After all of this it has been concluded that I have venous leak as a result of the damage. No amount of Cialis will work. My final option is the Titan implant. I’m still waiting for surgery clearance from my Cardiologist. Looking back on the last 6 years I wished I had gone with the implant. To me it seems it should be the first option for ED. I have a lot to offer in ways of advice and my experience with surgery. I’d be happy to talk to anyone here.

So sorry to read about your problems. It's bad when us older guys start having problems but it's sad to see it happen to a young man, in his sexual prime.
I did notice that you are waiting clearance from your cardiologist. This indicates arterial problems other than in you penis. The penis is usually the first indication of heart disease. The smaller veins in your penis stop up first and the larger veins in the heart later. I had E.D. long before I had bypass surgery. A triple bypass. Thank God I caught it before having a heart attack.
I wish you the very best and hope that an implant will allow you to enjoy the sex that a young man should be enjoying. God bless you.

Thank you for your very kind words. Luckily I am free of any heart problems. My urologist wants me to be cleared for surgery. The first test was an echo test of the heart which I passed. I will be completing the stress test (treadmill test) next week and hopefully get this surgery going soon.

Holy Crap! You have been through a tough situation and I feel for you.
Now that you've got things figured out, and get your implant, I'm hoping you have an easy recovery.
Good luck. Keep us posted.

Hi Chris,
Thank you for posting. I'm sorry for all you've been through - it sounds really tough and I hope that the implant ends up working out. I believe that I have cycling induced ED as well and have some questions regarding arterial revascularization. I just sent you a PM. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated as I am currently considering my options.
