Over 20 years experience and I still need help

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself. I was paralyzed from the waist down due to a car accident back in 1989. I was almost 17 at the time and have been succissful dealing with ED since then until now. I had great success with Viagra when it came out but after I got married, I found that injecting with trimix was a better option for me. Looking back, I don't believe that my injections were all that they could have been but were sufficient at the time. I have been divorced for two years now and getting back into the romantic scene. I just turned 40 and low and behold, I am not successfully getting an adequate erection any longer. I have tried Viagra 100, Cialis 20, and Trimix (my 14 units- as high as 45 units). My self esteem is in the dumps for the first time ever as I have had 5 failed attempts at intercourse with kids' Kindergarten Teacher. I look forward to working out my problem with you guys.

Welcome, sounds like you are a good canidate for an implant. Lots of reading and research to do here at FT. There are several guys getting implants right away that plan on recording their experience here.

Have you discussed this "fail" with your uro? Sounds like you may need an ultrasound to confirm or rule out venous leakage.

Thanks Greg, I have an appointment on 9/24 so I am trying to gather as much input and info as I can prior to the visit as he is not exactly bursting with knowledge in regard to injections anyway. I am learning that alot of what increases the success rate with injections anyway, is technique and routine. I do have all of my fingers crossed but the ultra sound is a great idea thank you.

I think I misspoke. I believe the test is a Doppler, not an ultrasound. In any case, surely the uro knows about that. If not, you might need a new doctor.
