Everything was going pretty good until I hit 50 years old. On Friday I made love to my wife and then from that day on I could not get a erection. Now this last 10 years as been a lot of stress and a lot of things happen in my life. Now I've got through all the the problems. Here's just a few things that happen in 10 years, two heart attacks, to total knee replacements, lost my dog of 18 years, lost my daughter of 40 years to cancer, and for three years I tried to help my wife not commit suicide over this. Now my life is calm down and I want to get back to making love again.
I tried a couple ED medicines and nothing has happened. I'm losing weight and going to the gym three times a week. I'm still pretty heavy and I'm going to try to lose 50 pounds more by this coming July which I'm on schedule. I just cannot understand why I went from a full erection one day to nothing the next morning. Has anybody had this problem and how did you solve it.
I want to thank Frank talks.com reporting on this website it is awesome

Step 1: go to the doctor. With all you've been through, and with your extra weight, you could benefit from a comprehensive check-up, including a blood chemistry profile. IN addition to checking cholesterol levels, triglycerides, and all that, you might want to request A1C (blood sugar) levels and certainly check testosterone (both regular and "Free T") levels. Remember, ED is almost always a symptom of something else. Find out what it is and treat the underlying problem before treating the symptom. Thus sayeth the man with diabetes and a heart valve made from pig tissue.
Best wishes for hard times.

pw,
So what have you tried?? Only Viagra? MUSE? No injections ?
You could have any of three (or 4)things going wrong .. low blood flow to penis, degenerated nerves to penis, or venous leak in the penis, or could be in your head. Like G said, heart issues, HBP, arteriosclerosis, diabetes, plus any drugs to medicate those conditions can all contrib to ED.
If you just tried pills and they don't work you don't know if the problem is flow, nerves, venous or head or any combo of those.
If you tried MUSE or injections and it works you know you got flow and no venous leak (but doesn't rule out nerves or your head -- but they just don't matter in this case).
If MUSE or shots DON'T work then you got flow and/or venous issues.
Glad to hear you are working on your health .. that could benefit, well, everything.
get back to us on some details ...

When this happened I had sugar diabetes and I did not have it under control. Two years after that had I have my first heart attack then three years later after that I have my second heart attack. There was a lot of family issues went on and work that gave me a lot of stress. But now after 10 years of trying to get back into having sex. I have lost over 37 pounds last year and this year I've lost 8. This is from July to July I started I plan on trying to lose 40 pounds a year for three years. My sugar diabetes is under control I just use glyburide 5 mg. Started taking vitamins vitamin E, vitamin D,l-ARGININE and some high blood pressure medicine. It was just amazing to me how this happened in one day.
I want to thank everybody here for all the information it gives me a lot of hope.
