Hello guys, here's my story. I am 60 and noticed small nodule at base of penis about five years ago. Severe Peyronie's set in shortly after that. I then experienced severe ed. Have not had intercourse with wife of 40 years for two or three years. Initially went to local urologist and did not like his bedside manner at all. Because of that I put problem on back burner for a few years. Two months ago was lucky enough to get hooked up with one of the best board certified urologists in America, Dr. Jacob Rajfer at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. Initially tried the shot but it didn't work that great. On 11/5/12 Dr Rajfer fitted me with the Titan Coloplast, the one without the OTR valve. He apparently is not a fan of the OTR. Two days post-op, not too much pain and Dr. Rajfer said things couldn't have gone better. He has instructed me not to mess with the equipment until after my two week checkup on 11/20. You should all know that I probably would have had this done without seeing this site, but the site sure may my decision much easier.
Thanks, Dennis

Welcome to the club! I'm 8 plus months postop with a Titan OTR. I'd encourage you to post your experiences in the implant forum. And any questions.
I'm very happy with my TItan, and no problems with the OTR, but I've heard of other docs who are not implanting OTR pumps and using the old style pumps with the Titan instead.
Good luck.

Hi Dennis,
I was implanted with the Coloplast Titan (non-OTR) in December 2007 after developing ED Post-Prostatectomy in 2004.
The Titan completely corrected my ED and restored both my sex life and the emotional bond with my wife of 45 years.
I wish the same for you and your wife.
Best of Luck,
Bob

Welcome to the bionic club. I have a brand new AMS700LGX. Very little swelling almost no pain. To make this better, i didn't have an easier path to get here; 3days out of surgery. First attempt ended with a repair of the urethra at the bladder neck due to scar tissue; couldn't get a catheter in. 33 days later in for what didn't happen the first time. More problems but implant in. 1.5 hours expanded to 2.5 hours more scar tissue and an alternate reservoir incission and implant location.
Still I am happy with my implant and my urologist.
