Medicare coverage

I have had issues with Trimix and am considering an implant. Is it relatively easy to get Medicare to cover costs.

I suspect you will need pre-approval. If you google Medicare Coverage and look under
sex aids or reproduction systems it should give you an answer. If nothing else call the
800 number for Medicare and ask someone. Good Luck

Medicare covered mine. I had previously had a prostatectomy, so that may have been an influence. The surgeon's office did the pre-authorization. No hiccups.

Medicare B covers the implant surgery. If you only have basic Medicare A, I don't think so.
Doctors' office billing staff are the ones to ask.

Hi
Medicare A will cover but if that's only coverage you have you will have $1600 deductible for the year. if you have other coverage, than implant is covered completely. That was my case. You should check with a surgeon's office, they can do all the authorization through for your specific insurance situation. - JW

they don't cover any injectables including edex/caverjet that you can get from big box pharmacies. they definitely don't cover trimix/bimix.
