Hi guys.
17 months and no action.
Tried Viagara, Cialais, Levitra, Trimix.
Trimix at .85 caused about 70 % erection, no sex. Tried VED along with it, still not adequate. Not real comfortable either.
I'm really OK at this point in my life. Libido not real high. Do what O have to do to make sure Mama's needs are met. I whip Willie a little once in a while to see what happens. I have heard orgasms can actually be better. Not for me. A little sensation, a little quickening. No big deal.
Of course I miss sex. I miss the spontaneity. I miss the physical part of love making.
The question is, what am I willing to do to get it back. The implant looks like it is worse than the prostatectomy. Havene't seen much else that interests me.
SO, I am waiting for the penis fairy. Maybe I will wake up one morning with a big one. I have seen guys have it after 2 years.
Meanwhile, I will hang around here and wait for one of you to discover the magic bullet. You will be a rich man.

Hey Limpalong,
Man, oh man, I can relate to you, as I am 18 months post DaVinci, and I am in the same damned sinking boat that you are in. Except, I still have a good libido, which for me, makes it even more frustrating. And, like you, I'm not sure that the pump implant is the way to go either. I have to take Coumadin daily due to having suffered a stroke some years ago, so every time I have to have surgery, they have to pull me off of it and then I risk another stroke, or they give me injections of Lovenox, which makes the surgical sites bleed like hell. So, I don't see any way out of this any time soon. My Uro Doc. tell me to try to be patient, that it might come back anytime, but having developed Peyroines Disease and Penile Fibrosis from the injections, I suspect that even if I chose to go the route of Implant, the pecker is too permanantly damaged to be able to even gain length and girth from the surgery.
What a mess we get ourselves into. And somehow, we are supposed to be pleased and appreciative with our situation about all of this because we might have beaten the cancer. Don't think so !!!
Good luck to you, we'll keep in touch and see if we ever "rise" to the occasion.

Re: Post DaVinci 17 months and limp
Hello,
I had my prostatectomy 4 years ago and it was conventional surgery. I cannot say I suffered from a lot of pain but perhaps I was just lucky. I suppose it took me about a couple of months or so, maybe a little longer as I can't remember now, to recover from the incontinence, but I did as I was told and performed the kegel exercises whenever I could which included whilst I was watching TV. Nobody other than I was aware I was doing them. I went through the full range of treatment for E.D. none of which were successful and after the offer of an implant, I took a further year to convince myself that it might be worth the pain and inconvenience. I was told that some patients who had sailed through their prostatectomy found the pain from the implant surgery to be worse and this was probably the reason I took so long to decide. Having said that, I can honestly say that I did not suffer any real pain, but again perhaps I was very lucky. However having the implant was the best decision I could have made. I am able to perform well and both my wife and I are delighted with the result. When I was asked by the Surgeon how successful we both felt the implant was, I said 90% and the reason it was not 100% is because I suffered a little loss of length, but to be honest that was a small price to pay for the overall benefits, both physically and mentally.

Hi limpinalong. Welcome to franktalk. You say that you've tried ciallis, viagra, and levitra, as well as the pump.
Have you tried Muse yet? You know - inserting a little pellet into your p-hole.
I also started off on ciallis. But my surgeon told me that in view of the nerve damage during the operation it was unlikely I would get any good results. That's because cialllis as well as the other two medications are meant to work by affecting the central nervous system. If you haven't got those penile nerves firing properly you won't get the results you want.
Muse and caverject work locally by tricking the arteries in the penis to expand and allow more blood into the shaft.
The pump works in a similar way I suppose.
It takes a while for those nerve bundles to heal and to start firing up. When I first tried ciallis it was just about effective, but it wasn't good enough. I went on to Muse, which was better. I've given ciallis another try, as an experiment, just to see what progress has been made in the past 3 months. It's more effective now. Still not good enough. But by using the pump and Muse I have helped the nerves to remember where they are and what they're for.
It really does take time and patience.
I hope you arrive one of these days. don't despair.

Re: Post DaVinci 17 months and limp
Thanks guys for the encouragement.
I am thankful for my successful treatment thus far. I am not complaining. Life is good. Dying of cancer has to be a lot worse than a limp noodle.
Thanks for the encouraging report on the implant. Seems like most of the time all we hear about is the problem cases. I haven't ruled it out.
No , I haven't tried muse. I may talk to uro next month about it.
I haven't given up, but I am busy living each day to the fullest. This is just a bump in the road.

Hey limpy! I'm glad you are so upbeat. That's great. Please do talk to your doctor about Muse.
By the way, when you tried the medications, did you also use one of the rings that came with the pump?
I find that whether I use the pump or Muse or ciallis, I have to put one of the constriction rings on as well. thhis gives the penis more stiffness for longer.
Another thing to try, as recommended in Barbara Keesling's book "Sexual Pleasure", is to exercise the nerves down there by gently massaging the base of the penis while stroking upwards and gently squeezing the shaft. That as well as softly stroking your penis and balls through your underwear will in time help to reawaken feeling in that area.
Little by little it may become larger. Good luck.
