Postby pjt1958 » Thu Apr 18, 2024 3:22 pm

Hello all, I've been stalking the discussion board for over a year - finally joined to post my journey. I have bad ED not working with pill. Turning 65 soon and considering an implant I live in Palm Springs area and traveling to see Dr. Yafi next week. Wish me luck - so much great info here to prepare me.
65 with ED for >10 years. Failed pills, not happy with injections. Implanted 6/24/24 (AMS CX 21 cm) with Dr Darshan Patel at UCSD.

If you have been on the site for a year you should have a pretty good idea on the type brand etc you want in an Implant. I have a Rigicon MMP which I'm fairly happy with was the only one my Dr. would do based on my health history. Who you use for a Dr. is every bit as important as the brand implant you chose. You want a high volume implanter with a great track record. Remember each time you have to do a revision of an implant you increase your chances of having an infection. Best of luck to you on your journey ..
