Hi. I'm Steve, a 62 year old gay man, and my story is simple. 3+ years ago I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and given 10 years to deal with it. A year later they said we have to do something Now or you're toast. So I had Brachytheraopy. It killed the cancer good but now I'm left totally impotent. I've tried all the oral meds, the injections, the vacuum pump and am now considering the implants. I'd especially like to talk to a gay man about his experiences with the implant. Any feedback would be helpful in making my decision.
Thanks a lot,
Steve

I have a question for you. Why do you think the perspective of a gay man on implants would be any different from that of an implanted straight man? It seems to me that a penis is a penis and an implant is an implant. Certain sex related destinations might be different, but that's about it, as far as I know. I'm not being catty, just genuinely curious.

Hey steve, welcome aboard.
I am a 41 yr old implanted straight man( if that makes a difference?)
I agree w/greg .......a pole by anyother name is still a pole right? ED is devistating to your man hood, gay or straight it plays its ugly mind games, and destroys you physically and emotionally, gay or not the feeling of making love to your partner is the same?no? But any way like I said I am 41 been implanted almost 7mos. Now and am pleased w/who I have become and what was able to be returned to me.
I wish you the best of luck on your journey and if you have any questions I would be happy to answer, gay or straight we're all brothers walking down the same road.

Thanks Greg and Rich for responding to me. I wasn't able to get online for a bit so sorry it's taken awhile to get back to you. I guess I should have stated my question differently. I did so in the Implants section. What I really need to know is if the implants get you hard enough for anal sex as opposed to sex with woman in the usual way. I've done both and find that men are a Lot harder to penetrate anally than a woman is in the usual way. So I asked in my other post for anyone, gay or straight, who has had anal sex with an implant and how well it works. I'm not trying to be discriminatory or suggest that there's a lot of difference between gay and straight men. We all are in the same boat I realize. But there is a difference in sexual actions and that's what I'm curious about. Thanks again for responding. I really do appreciate it.
Cheers,
Steve
