implant 3 weeks ago and freaking out

Hi All,
I'm new to board. I just had my infrapubic surgery 3 weeks ago. I'm 53yo. I've always been on the small side, in my healthy days i was 4.75" probably. Having suffered from ED for years, i think I was below 4" presurgery. After my surgery, my doctor left me inflated, but I didn't know how much, but I was suprised when it was only 2". Today, i had a follow up, and asked him if that's all i'm going to get and he said yeah. I still have some swelling and he told me to wait another 3 weeks before using it. I asked him about a vacuum device and he said that won't help. How the F and i'm going to have sex with a 2 incher. My wife and I are freaking out!!!

Your surgeon sounds like he has horrible bedside manner. Sorry about that.

In general a decent implant surgeon will get you back to your preop size or close to it. But it takes months of cycling (pumping as hard as you can for as long as you can stand until you can stay pumped at max comfortably).
You’ll likely regain (perceived) length as the swelling around the base of your penis goes away.
At 3 weeks you are still at the start of your journey. Hang in there.

Thanks for the encouragement. yeah, you're right, he has a horrible bedside manner. After the surgery, he said everything went well. He asked me if a I had any questions. I asked one or two, he answered and just left. I was willing to overlook all that for a competent surgeon!

Sounds like my surgeon .. ask a direct question .. he will pause and if it's something he does not want to talk about goes off to another subject .. or just looks at you and waits for the uncomfortable silence to go away ..at which time he suddenly stands up and zooms out of the room ..
