Another "Just joined". I am 69, a type II diabetic, who has a (very large) BHP. I used to empty my bladder before going to bed, get up at least 2 times per night, and wake up with a full bladder. Last year I went through a Transurethral Microwave Thermotherapy of the Prostate (TUMT). I now rarely get up to urinate at night.
