Hello, I'm 67 and received my AMS700 on 9/5/2025. My first follow up is this Friday. Have suffered from ED due to cardiac medications for 26 years. I feel great taking this step and am looking forward to the next chapter. I hope to learn from others on this forum to get past the recovery process.
67 year old, happily married to my high school sweetheart. ED for 26 years with maybe a 15% success rate for pills. Couldn't see myself doing injections so took the plunge on September 5, 2025. I have an AMS700.

65, Radical Prostatectomy in 2023, pills did nothing. Currently on Trimix with great success.

Welcome! How has the initial healing been? When are you allowed to pump/deflate your implant? Any idea when you are clear for sex?

Thank you all.
For me it was more soreness and swelling for the first two week. Bruising like you've never seen too but from a pain standpoint I've felt worse. Never even used the oxy prescribed by the Dr. My last dissolving stitch came out yesterday which really made a difference.
As for pumping and sex. We'll see how it goes tomorrow at my follow-up. From what my Dr said before surgery I should be good to go with both. Fingers crossed!

! It takes time but you will get through the early recovery process and progressively start to enjoy your new toy. Sex with an implant has been a real eye opener for me and now having great fun with it.71, married, Sydney Oz. PC & nerve sparing RRP Mar 22, profound ED since. Tried pills, Trimix inj, focal shockwave, VED.
