AMS 700
Hi Guys, glad to be here. Too much to say and ask. Lost my beloved wife of 18 years due to ED. Sent me an accidental voicemail having sex with co-worker in their work restroom. Found out you never really know anyone. Anyway, that being said and done, July 2nd this year received the AMS 700 3-piece implant. Sitting, laying down, and getting up are events. The discomfort is profound. Dr. Mark Allen in Plano,Tx. is about the best according to research. I kept hammering him saying, "give me as much as humanly possible, and one more inch"! He would laugh saying, "can't give you more than you've got "! Day after surgery he came to my room and smiled saying, "I did a good job, 22cm, you do the math"! When I arrived home I googled 22cm and it said, "8.661" inches. Can I believe that or not ???? Larry
Re: AMS 700
Hello Larry,
All of that 8.66 inches is not external to the body. About 1/3 is internal support for what is hangin out. Check the "treatment" section of this site and it will show some outlines to give you an idea. Like your doc said, can't give you more than what you had at the very best time in your life.
Best wishes
Larry -- 700 too

You have to understand that the cylinders are not all external. At best 2/3 is external or 15 cm = 5.9"
Look at the image and see an AMS 700 unit ... one cylinder is expanded, the other is not. This shows the length and girth expansion of the unit. At most you can expect a 4 cm length expansion (average is 2 cm). So you should end up with about 6" ... not bad at all!

Re: AMS 700
Larry,
First of all, so sorry about finding your wife is cheating. Don't blame that on E D. It probably would have happened anyway.
Second, as the other guys have already said, don't get too excited about the size of the implant. Read my posting "LGX log" and it should put your mind at ease.
Third, getting up and down. Ah yes, I remember that well. I discovered the source of the pain is largely due to the fact the pump wants to stick to your testicles, scrotum and your penis. Try gently pulling the pump free of its neighbors and you will find these movements become much more comfortable. My pump really stuck to my penis, it moved with it. Very uncomfortable.
Good luck!
