I’ve been reading the discussions for several weeks and found the issues raised and information shared quite helpful. I’m 65, had ED for 17 years caused by heavy meds treating PTSD and depression. Elevated PSA but negative biopsy (now close monitoring) adds another issue.

Wife of 37 years died in ’05, but have a new love and want to revitalize physical affection. Cialis stopped working, pumps frustrated, and after another long drought, am starting TriMix injections.

A true needle phobe with strong vagal (fainting) reflex, it is “mind over what-matters-most” so had my first injection today. Did all my head-prep only to learn this first one was just saline. In three days I get my first “woody-cine.” Did today’s shot myself, “boldly poking where nothing has ever gone before.” Did not faint, felt only a tiny sting, and walked out with my head up (if nothing else -- yet).

Grateful for this site and EDF. Expect to keep learning and hope to contribute when able. Dan

redo,
Welcome to Frank Talk. Not sure how long your new love has been going on, but I can tell you from personal experience (I lost my wife of over 38 years in '06) the "new love" experience will really kick up the sexual ability so if you are having a few problems now they will possibly get worse. Hopefully Trimex will cure. After giving up orals and not wanting to use injections, I am scheduled for IPP, you may see that as a options in the future yourself. One think for sure, you can get some great advice here and built some new kind of friendships with men who really want to help.
