Hello. I have been struggling with ed since I was in my early 30's. I am 49 now. Viagra does work to an extent, but not as well as it used to. I understand this happens to a lot of guys. I have normal blood pressure and cholesterol, t level is around 400. I was on t therapy (self injection) for over a year but it did not bring my level up to where it needed to be for very long. I was injecting every 5 days, and I was testing out at 450 or so. I had a slightly high psa, so the Dr. took me off of it. I had several psa tests, each one the level was lower. The last test was 4.1, which isn't that high. I reallyt don't like to rely on viagra because of the awkwardness (timing it right, empty stomach), and sometimes it doesn't work. It is good to be on the site. I hope I learn some helpful things.

Picasso ... Welcome to FT ...
A 4.1 PSA is a little high for a guy your age ... keep getting tested every 6 months and get/keep a copy of your tests.
Have you tried the daily Cialis instead of Viagra? many URO's recommend that ... if not covered by insurance you can get it here:
http://www.alldaychemist.com/men-s-health.html
Sildenafil citrate (generic Viagra) or Tadalafil (generic Cialis) ... ignore the "Tadalafil is not for consumption in United States" as they will ship it to you anyway ...
You should look into a VED device ... "use it or lose it" is very true ...
http://www.vitalitymedical.com/penis-pump.html or you can purchase a cheap unit at Amazon.com (search: penis pumps)
Keep us posted on your progress ...

I agree that your PSA seems high. 4 is the cut off for "normal" I think. Keep check on it that it is going down.
I use Levitra--it seems to have less side effects for me than Viagra. You might ask your doc for a free sample.

Picasso, I hope your being monitored by a Uro. If not you may want to make an appointment. Yep 4 is on the elevated side like the others have said.
