Introduction

I am a 56 yr old consulting civil engineer, in otherwise good health.
Was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer on 03/12.
Rec'd brachytherapy, external beam radiation, and hormone treatments.
Completed radiation therapy in 08/12 and last hormone treatment was 08/13.
Hormone treatment now subsiding and testostorone level rebuilding (presently 380, was 810 prior to treatments).
Libido has been returning, with a vengeance, as of 4 weeks ago, but wasn't prepared for the reality of ED.
Absolutely infuriating and frustrating, having been chemically castrated past two years.
Didn't know it would play with your thought processes, emotions, and self esteem such as it does.
Have been happily married to same wonderful woman for 34 yrs. She's a nurse and understands the clinical & phsycological aspects of the ED problem, and has been unbelievalby supportive.
Had a very active sex life prior to the cancer, and now are on the front end of sorting out what's ahead of us.
Urologist has had me trying Viagra for past 2 1/2 weeks, with little to no success. Extremely dissapointing.
Just wanted to make introduction, and will solicit specific advice, and experiences in near future.
Appreciate finding this site, and look forward to the company on this venture.
