Hi, I had robotic prostatectomy 4 years ago and it is almost time for my 4-year PSA -- all zeros so far . I use VED daily for therapy plus 3 times a week for intercourse. It does exactly what we want, although it is a nuisance. I am an occasional contributor to

My question do you still orgasms and semen if having intercourse 3X week? At 75 I'm lucky to really orgasm weekly and have little semen. Is erection "hard" with VED manipulation. How long do you leave band on?

As I understand it, the prostate produces the semen. I have no prostate and haven't noticed any semen since it was removed, Just a little urine leakage at orgasm. VED produces as long and hard an erection as I have ever had, plus the more I use the VED, the more the girth grows. My spouse loves that, and so do I. I use 2 weak bands; I find them more comfortable (less uncomfortable) than one strong one. I guess it spreads the discomfort around a little. After 10 or 12 minutes I start to lose sensitivity, and if I haven't experienced orgasm by then I'm not going to; when that happens I just enjoy the sex as long as my sweetie wants it. In any case, I try to remove the bands in 20 or 25 minutes, but sometimes I lose track of time or doze off for too long and I don't think that is good for my rod. I orgasm at least 2 out of our 3 weekly trysts! I find that some fantasies and occasional porn help keep me going .
