one week post op

had my surgery 9 days ago and mostly pain free, my only complaint so far is the discomfort of the pump in my scrotum and my semi erect state since surgery. I go for my 2 week follow up in 6 days and am looking forward to getting deflated for a few days so healing can complete and hopefully remaining discomfort will go away. Does anyone know how long it takes for the scrotum to get used to the weight of the pump and the mild discomfort it causes? On a bright note I can say I was pleasantly surprised this surgery on pain scale was not near as bad as I thought it would be. Only took pain meds for first 3 days and kept ice packs on and at this time only mild discomfort remains

Day 11 and totally pain free, still slight swelling in scrotum and just a slight touch of discomfort from pump on lower scrotal wall. only complaint today is it itching like crazy, I always heard that's a sign of healing. Took a nice hot shower this morning and my my my it felt like heaven. My wife did an examination and from the big grin on her face i think she is having some interesting plans for the near future. Should i be afraid?.... She is a country girl after all!

Your wife is smiling? Mine is getting nervous. I had to tell her to not wear anything remotely sexy or having anything exposed around me. She doesn't understand why. I apologized in advance in the animal I will be. She can forget slow love making at first.

Anyway, you mentioned the pump is making your balls heavy. Will it be permanent or do you think it is still due to swelling?

Also wear was your incision and how big is it?

was probably a roughly one inch incision in my scrotum, i think in time you get used to the weight of the pump. it is already gradually getting noticably better
