Dad's Favorite Saying

My dad was a machine repairman, worked with tools all his life. His favorite saying was "I can fix anything but a broken heart." When people would ask why he couldn't fix a broken heart, his reply was "Because that requires a 8 1/2" and I've only got a 8 1/4"."
