Romance fades

Postby dg_moore » Sat Apr 25, 2020 6:07 am

Last night we were about to turn off the light when my wife said, "hey, wasn't today our anniversary?" I ased her the date and she told me and I said I guess it must be. So we said happy anniversary and went to sleep.

Being (relatively) healthy is everything. If your health is poor nothing else matters. Romance started to fade for us when I had a stroke years ago - it basically ruined my life, killed my libido, ended any interest in sex. I continue to go through the motions, and still have my sense of humor, but I feel lousy most of the time. My wife puts up with me, but I'm not the greatest companion ever unfortunately.
