I think some of us grew up with this message!

Received a joke from a restaurant which goes like this: "What did one stop light say to the other?' "Don't look I'm changing!" Thank goodness we have more freedom today and less guilt.

Are you sure about more freedom? Kids don't shower after gym class much anymore because someone might see them naked. Yes, there is lots more nudity in some places and on the net. But, I'm not sure it is widespread.

(Oops, forgot this was a very, very old post.)

Old post, yes, but a very real observation on societal attitudes on nudity and candor.

There are men on this site who remember when gym classes (things like swimming, not wrestling) were done in the nude. The first Olympics in ancient Greece were all done in the nude, even wrestling. Of course, back in that time, and there, women did not attend the games.

((Too bad...nude cheerleaders would be a nice addendum today.))

I am one of those that remembers and participated in swimming nude in junior and senior high school gym classes. I recall a friend who was doing it for the first time. He stood in the water that was over waist high and held his jewels in his hands because he was embarrassed. I don't understand why because we showered nude after gym class every day.
