I'm 29, being dealing with ED since age 19. At its worst I could not maintain an erection at all during sex and would go through phases of avoiding intimacy as a result.
All started with coming off SSRIs, which I had been prescribed to treat depression due to a rough patch I went through as a teenager. Felt robbed of my youth and spent a long time being angry at my doctor, my parents, and the world.
I am able to hold down a pretty good sex life nowadays thanks to medication and a loving, understanding partner. I've had time to get used to and reflect on my condition and knowing that treatment options are available is a boon to my mental state. Don't let friends and family gaslight you into thinking it's all in your head, but please don't ever forget that ED is taken very seriously by the medical community and that help is out there. I'm here if you need someone to PM.
29 years old. ED caused by CPPS/HF-like symptoms since coming off antidepressants in 2012. Taking Cialis 5mg every other day and undergoing pelvic floor physiotherapy.
