Marriage and Erection Injections

Postby ZENz2000 » Sat Oct 12, 2024 8:27 am

I became impotent at the age of 24 due to a spinal cord injury, and since penile implants are unavailable in my country, I have no choice but to rely on erection injections. I'm seeking advice as I consider the possibility of marriage within the next 10 years. Should I be open with my future wife about needing these injections for a successful sexual relationship, or would it be acceptable to keep it private? Would withholding this information be considered deceitful? Additionally, how do women typically react upon learning that their partner can only achieve an erection with medical assistance, such as injections? Do they tend to see their husbands as less worthy or look down on them?

I doubt anyone not from your country or culture will be able to give an answer of any value. To me not disclosing your disability and your solution for it in advance would be deceitful. What her response will be would be at least partially dependent on her knowledge and understanding of ED, it's causes and treatments. Her culture would also play a significant part on how she would process it. And finally it would depend on her own personality, how caring of a person she is and how much it's all about her. That a lot of variables.

I highly doubt you could hide the injections for anything longer than a few weeks. As it takes a couple of minutes to inject yourself and she may find your injecting material one day, I don not see how you could realistically hide it from her. Additionally, even if possible, I believe it would not be advisable to hide such a thing from your partner. Healthy relationships are built on mutual trust. You do not have to tell her right away, especially before having sex for the first time, but after a few sex sessions you should absolutely bring it up.

As for her reaction, it really depends. I think most women only care that you get hard, and are not so interested in how you get hard. But others may be put off be it. For pills, I think I have never met a woman who was "opposed" or grossed out by it.

I’ll agree with the crowd. You can hide pills. You might even hide an implant. But you aren’t going to hide injections.

If you’re doing bimix, trimix, or Quadmix the vial is going to be in the refrigerator. If you buy a 3-month supply some will be refrigerated while some go into freezer compartment.

You’re going to have insulin syringes and needles so she will either think you’re a diabetic or heroin addict. Probably best to tell the truth.

Besides, she didn’t cause the spinal injury. Your erection problems are not related to wife’s attractiveness or sex appeal. I suspect if you explain it openly and honestly that your willingness to stick a needle in your penis will convince her you find her desirable.

Then she can enjoy the results. Injectables can give you many good years of high quality erections. I used them for 32 years. The last 5 yrs or so were so-so but prior to that they worked great.

So sorry to hear of your situation.

I suggest that you be open with your partner and promote the one advantage of doing injections. Once proficient, you can pretty much control the length of time that you are erect. I realize everyone is different and react differently to the drugs, but I kept increasing my dosage until I was erect for 3 hours, hard enough for penetration. I now have backed off the dosage can rely on with a high level of confidence that my minimal dosage will give me/us a nice 1/2 hour erection that works well for our desires.

I remember when I was your age, spending 3 hours in bed with my lady was not uncommon.

Best wishes to you and I hope your future wife finds the positive in your situation.

Hope this helps,
RJ
