Hello guys!
I'm a 26 yo male from Northern Europe having erectile dysfunction for 14-15 months now. Everything started as a psychogenic ED (sudden start, intermittent potency, etc) and during this on and off phase of ED I had and accident during sex (hit my boy on my gf's butt doing doggy). In the moment I just felt pain but no loss of erection and I continued. A few hours later I saw a thick cord-like thing encircling my corona, just under the glans, hard to touch and very uncomfortable.
After seeing that I contacted my Uro right away and he told me that it was a clot on vessels on lymphatic, and it should resolve itself without complications. The cordlike clot has improved, now a very thin line, by the ED part seems to have worsened. This accident was 9 months ago.
See below an image of a similar case

Now, my main problems are lack of very rigid erections. Boner stats to fade if I lay down and is stronger in upright positions. Lack of spontaneous erections and weak nocturnal erections (when I see them during the night). I've been prescribed PDE5 inhibitors 6 months ago and they helped but it wasn't a consistent response, specially when I'm lying on my back. I did some research and I was afraid the the trauma caused me some smooth muscle scarring leading to venous leakage which is somewhat consistent with my symptoms. However I know that anxiety mediated adrenaline can prevent full relaxation and thus mimic a VL. I still have hopes this is mental once I'm the anxious kind and this reflects in pelvic tension and low libido which is also related to ED. What frightens me the most is the inconsistent response to the blue pills.
Now I'm in the U.S. (Ithaca, NY) until December and my insurance here is the very basic, so I'm not sure if it would cover specialist consults or exams like Doppler. So if anyone has any wise words or tips they would be very welcome now.
ps.: good links for VL and pelvic floor issues (aka hard flaccid)

So I think a implant specialist is not the first person should see once I don't even know if I have a real physical problem or just an extreme case of anxiety mediated adrenaline release. I guess I need a proper diagnosis, maybe Mulhall, but I'm not sure if my basic student insurance will cover a very expensive office visit. I have to try that yet.

All you need is a Cavernosometry Test for diagnose.
Implanted with Coloplast Genesis MALLEABLE on Jan 2024.
I have had venous leakage.
I didnt like the side effects of PDE5 inhibitors.
So far, I am very happy with the Coloplast Genesis.
I am from Türkiye.

Call Dr. Mulhall and see if he can give you a "student" discount. Never hurts to ask.

He can test you for venous leak, which describing your symptoms is very possible.
